Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said in Himachal / Vidhan Sabha session, will be appointed in schools within 10 days 354 PGT


Shimla. Shortage of teachers in the state government schools will soon go away. The state government is going to fill 354 posts of PGT teachers in schools within the next ten days. This recruitment will be done through certification. The same number of posts will also be filled through direct recruitment. The Education Department has sent the matter of filling up the post to the State Public Service.





There was some dispute about rules which have now been resolved. Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj gave this information in response to a question asked by MLA Vikramaditya Singh in the Assembly on Friday.





Posts of 193 teachers vacant: In  Shimla Rural Assembly constituency, 193 posts of various categories of teachers are lying vacant. 1 posts of JBT, 56 of C&V, 13 of TGT, 12 of C&V, 10 of TGT and 2 of Lecturer and 48 posts of PGT are lying vacant. 6 posts of DPE, 16 of TGT and 29 posts of C&V are vacant.

We will not inaugurate until the construction of the building is complete: Jairam
Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said that inauguration of half-finished buildings will not be inaugurated in the state. He said that it is often seen that inauguration is done in haste during the imposition of the code of conduct. The work is also not completed. He said that the inauguration will take place when the construction of the building is completed. Chief Minister Jairam Thakur gave this information in response to the question of MLA Arun Kumar. He said that 18 departments were inaugurated in the Nagaraneta Legislative Assembly during the year 2015-16 and 2017-18.
