Saina, Prannoy and Srikanth lost in the quarterfinals of Badminton / Indus and Praneeth World Championship

Game desk. PV Sindhu and Sai Praneeth of India reached the quarterfinals of the BWF World Championship. Fifth seed Sindhu defeated US 9th seed Beiwen Zhang 21-14 21-6 on Thursday in Basel, Switzerland. Sindhu won the women's singles match in just 34 minutes. They will face second seeded Taiwan's Tai Xu Ying in the quarterfinal. On the other hand, Saina Nehwal, HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth suffered defeat.

In men's singles, Praneeth defeated sixth-seeded Indonesian Ginting 21-19, 21-13 in 56 minutes. Praneeth will take on fourth seed Indonesia's Jonathan Cristili in the quarter-finals. Praneeth has won only one match in 3 matches against him.

Saina lost against Bleakfeld in 72 minutes, winning
bronze in 2017 and silver in 2015, Saina was beaten by Mia Bleikfeld of Denmark 15-21, 27-25, 21-12. Saina lost the next two games after winning the first game in an hour and 12 minutes. Bleakfeld won the match in 72 minutes.

Prannoy defeated by world number one Momota
Prannoy was defeated by world number 1 player Kento Momota of Japan in the third round. Top seed Momota defeated Prannoy 21-19 21-12. He won the match in 56 minutes and secured his place in the quarter-finals. There they will take on 14th seed Malaysia's Li Ji Jia. Srikanth lost in 40 minutes against Thailand's Kantafon Vancharoen. Contafon won the match 21–14 21–13.
